Hi everyone, I'm Taylor Kerr. I have been riding BMX since I was 6. I'm 10years old and ride in the BC Team.
I've always wanted to ride for this team, and now I have achieved a big goal.

Nerang 2012

First race of the season and after a terrible knee injury I knew that my first moto wasn't going to be the best. My time for my first race was 45.247 I got 4th, moto 2 4th 43.666,moto 3 4th 44.192. Second day was better alot better, moto 4 3rd 43.082, moto 5 3rd 42.586 (fastest time), moto 6 3rd 43.386. So my time got faster by 3 seconds which is great and as a bonus I made it into the finals. As I snapped out of the gate I cranked so hard and went into 4th then on the first berm another rider came under me and got in front so that put me back into 5th. A battle was on between me and another rider I won but on the third straight she cut me off and that put me in 7th because another rider got past and I finished 7th not really what I wanted but life is full of corners and you have to get around them to get to the straights.

North Queensland Titles
At the North Queensland Championships I got 1NQ on 20inch and 3NQ in the 8-10 boys Cruiser, it was very fun. I nearly got 2nd In the finals but I missed a pump and didn't quite get there. I was part of the Moranbah Club team and we won the team Trophy.

Aussies
Hi! My mum and I drove down to Shepperton for the Aussie titles. I raced the last chance event which is an event BMX Vic held before the Aussie's. A few girls were missing and I got 2nd. At Pre-Titles it was freezing and it snowed 200k's away, Then the Aussies were on and I got 4th in Australia on 20 inch and 5th in Australia on cruiser, this was the first time I have ridden cruiser at the Aussies. The track looked good with bitumen berms and 2 pro straights.

Burdekin
Burdekin was my first Carnival for the year and because of the rain, its my first time on a track since last year.
I rode good but I need to do some work. I Finished 3rd overall for the weekend.
